The Art of Movement: Laban’s Legacy in DanceMusicDrama (April 1519, London, UK) is a five-day event celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Laban Art of Movement Guild, founded by Rudolf Laban in the UK. Honoring a legacy that has inspired innovation, reflection, and transformation across artistic and academic fields, this in person event will bring together international artists, scholars, educators, and practitioners.
On Saturday, April 18, the Laban Around the World program will feature an intensive full day of moderated panels, movement workshops, informal commented performances and short films, highlighting contemporary practices and research that reflect the global reach and continued relevance of Laban’s work. Submissions are invited for this program in the form of arts-related articles, presentations across diverse media, and workshops that deepen, expand, challenge, or reimagine Laban’s ideas, bringing into focus the dynamic intersections of art, movement, culture, and society.

Presentations and workshops will take place on Saturday, April 18, at Trinity Laban, London. Registration will open soon via Google booking forms on www.labanguildinternational.org.uk Saturday One-Day Pass: £60 (full rate); £40 (presenters, seniors and students).
